From the floor of the Stonk Exchange to “the Alley,” Robinhood Chain isn’t just for tokenized stocks and wonky finance anymore!

Capital markets may have been closed on Saturday, but over in the StonkBrokers ecosystem, Clutch Markets’ 0xSimpleFarmer and Card Wall’s Pointe were ringing the opening bell on an all new Gachapon style claw game dubbed the Alley, where anyone can win slabbed trading cards from brands like Pokémon, Major League Baseball, One Piece, and more!
For those unfamiliar with Gachapon style games or Collector Crypt’s business model, fear not. It’s simple and very fun.

To play, users visit the Alley and connect their wallets. From there, they choose a mystery box based on a particular sport, game, or brand and take a shot at the claw machine. The claw grabs a box, the player opens it, and inside is a randomly selected graded trading card.

Once the card is revealed, players have a choice. They can hold onto the digital representation of the physical card as an NFT, redeem it and have the actual slab shipped to them, or sell it back to the Alley for 85% to 93% of the card’s market value and take another swing at the claw or cash out!

In total, the Alley currently offers 19 different mystery boxes featuring cards from Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, soccer, baseball, basketball, football, and more, with pulls ranging from $50 to $250.
This reporter personally tried his luck in the Alley and pulled a first edition 1999 Machamp in a PSA 7, worth $74, out of a $50 box!

Following the launch, 0xSimpleFarmer said bringing Collector Crypt into the StonkBrokers ecosystem is huge not only for Card Wall and the firm, but for Robinhood Chain as a whole.
“We have access to the full Collector Crypto inventory,” 0xSimpleFarmer said on a live stream from the Alley today. “They have 54 million dollar in collectible cards not just Pokémon! This is a booming industry and they’re a top two revenue generating protocol. This is because this is what people want. People feel good about having their liquidity in cards. It’s important that we have these kinds of distribution channels in the StonkBrokers ecosystem. “
As the Gazette previously reported, TheCardWall was the fifth Special Project to come out of the Clutch Markets StonkBrokers ecosystem and aims to bring the world of trading card games to Robinhood Chain.
Tonight, anyone and everyone is invited to try their luck in the Alley and have some fun adding new cards to their collection.
