FROM THE CLUBHOUSE TO THE DOGG HOUSE: BAYC Heads West For A Weed Filled 4/20 Weekend At Snoop Dogg’s Compound

From the Clubhouse to the Dogg House!

There’s about to be a lot of smoke around the swamp as Bored Ape Yacht Club members head west for a weed filled weekend with the Doggfather himself, Snoop Dogg.

“We're bringing Apes out to @SnoopDogg's compound in Inglewood for 4/20 weekend,” the BAYC tweeted. “Spots are very limited and exclusive to holders. Signups for the Snoop 420 event open tomorrow, Friday April 10th @ 9:00 AM PT and close Monday April 13th @ 9:00PM PT. We will contact those selected using the info you provided when you sign up.”

 

 

At the time of writing, it’s unclear how many Apes will be selected or exactly how the signup process will work, but one thing is certain, the community is already high on this kind of activation.

“Show me another NFT project with this type of access,” BAYC member Truth tweeted. “I'll wait. Bored. Ape. Yacht. Club.”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Snoop Dogg has been a staple around the swamp since joining BAYC back in December 2021.

 

Since then, the Boss Dogg has been building with his Bored Ape, Dr. Bombay, launching a clothing collection, dropping an ice cream brand now sold in Walmart, releasing multiple shoes with Skechers, and even rolling out an action figure, Telegram stickers, and more.

 

Snoop Dogg also performed at ApeFest 2022 and debuted the song From the D 2 the LBC alongside fellow BAYC member Eminem. The music video featured them and their primates and its anything but boring!

The duo later performed the BAYC inspired track at the VMAs that year, appearing as their Apes in an augmented reality Otherside experience alongside Blue the Koda.

From the Clubhouse to the Dogg House, BAYC continues to make waves onchain and off it, and dare I say, we might be back!
