FROM THE TRADING FLOOR TO THE FRYERS: BAYC Member BullMktRich Apes Into His First Bored Ape After Clocking In With Clutch Markets’ StonkBrokers!

From the trading floor to the fryers!

On Thursday, longtime Mutant Ape BullMktRich lived up to his name and made history after trading a StonkBroker and 2.69 ETH for a fast food working primate, acquiring his first ever Bored Ape via Yuga Labs’ Grails OTC swap platform.

 

“Put the fries in the mothafuckin’ bag My first BAYC acquired,” BullMktRich tweeted. “ THANK YOU  @GrailsOTCfor a seamless & SMOOTH swap.”

 

 

But BullMktRich didn’t choose just any Ape. After considering several options, he found himself drawn to this particular primate because of a personal connection to its traits, and of course its background color!

 

“After going through a few options and picking carefully this guy pulled me in,” he said. “I have a special place in my heart for service apes as my mom still works for MCDs post - retirement so this one was special right off the bat for me as it reminds me her hard work and determination throughout life. Plus the aqua bg obviously looks amazing.”

 

For BullMktRich, becoming a Bored Ape has been a long time coming. He joined the broader BAYC community as a Mutant Ape holder two and a half years ago, attended ApeFest in Lisbon and Las Vegas, and always knew that while he was part of the Club, he eventually wanted to own one of the 10,000 NFTs that started it all.

 

“I always knew an OG ape would come to me one way or another,” he said. “The provenance and culture of bored apes are ALWAYS going to be apart of the NFT / digital collectible space and are PSA 10s.”

 

BullMktRich finally got his chance to add a Bored Ape to his collection after minting 26 of Clutch Markets’ StonkBrokers last month.

“Stonkbrokers are making history right now,” he said. “The culmination of Simplefarmer tech striking at the perfect time with Robinhood and now leading the charge on that front I couldn’t be happier to be the first BAYC to Broker swap. I have followed his work since he was on the Apechain team, from Clutch pups, the clutch sports betting, pixel pups, and now here - I knew I had to keep and load up on Clutch puppies long ago as he had a history of rewarding loyal holders. I had 26 SB mints and the rest was history.”

 

This marked the first time that  a Bored Ape for StonkBroker swap has happened on Grails OTC.

Tonight, BullMktRich is clocked in in more ways than one. He still holds 16 activated StonkBrokers, and he has officially updated his X profile to his all new primate as Apes from around the swamp congratulate him on the acquisition!
