From the laid back shores of the swamp to the fastest perpetual markets in all of Web3, ApeCoin is officially live on HyperLiquid! With this, Apes and $Ape holders can now put their coins to work, open liquidity pools, and participate in one of crypto’s most hyped markets.

 

 

On Tuesday, ApeCoin’s Project RAID, short for Rapid ApeCoin Integration Deployment, announced that $Ape was live on HyperLiquid, opening up a whole new world of onchain possibilities for token holders while also making the coin accessible to a new audience of traders.

 

For those unfamiliar, HyperLiquid is a layer 1 blockchain that launched in November 2024. It’s best known for its DEX, which brings the speed and usability of a centralized exchange onchain, making it the perfect place for perpetual futures trading, and a natural next stop for ApeCoin!

With the launch of $Ape on HyperLiquid, Yuga Labs’ Head of Product PP Man shared an easy to follow strategy for Apes to put their tokens to work and start earning points in this new ecosystem.

“Project X is one of the most hyped projects on HyperEVM. Cleanest swap UI with 0 fees and they have a points program,” PP Man tweeted. “HOW TO START EARNING POINTS? Easiest way is to provide liquidity is: > Get some $APE and $HYPE on @prjx_hl> Open a liquidity pool > Earn points”

 

 

To get started, simply bridge your $Ape over to HyperLiquid via Stargate Finance or swap your coins on Prjx.

Once you have both $Ape and $HYPE, PP Man recommends adding liquidity to the $Ape–$HYPE pool.

“The default is to add an equal dollar amount of both tokens and have a +/-20% range,” PP Man explained. “TLDR -> your HYPE and APE will be used for anyone wanting to buy HYPE or APE off the DEX. You get yield from this and the main risk is your HYPE gets bought up and you end up with more APE or conversely everyone buys your APE and you end up with more HYPE. This is called impermanent loss. “

 

With today’s launch, ApeCoin is now live on two blockchains outside the ApeChain swamp, and we can expect to see the token pop up in even more places soon, according to Yuga Labs CEO Garga.

“The hyper-financialization of ApeCoin continues,” he tweeted. “Couple weeks ago, we launched APE on Solana and integrated it across dozens of protocols there. Now, APE is coming to HYPE. Not stopping until you can use APE across every relevant chain and protocol.”
