The devs are getting ready to deal around the swamp, as the team teased that poker will be coming to Otherside soon!

This isn’t a bluff. On Wednesday, Yuga Labs Head of Engineering James Hall shared an Otherside screenshot of “Texas Hold ’Em,” showcasing a drop down menu similar to PokerStars or PartyPoker, complete with active, joinable, and open tables, as well as the option to take a seat or simply spectate.
Tonight, it’s still unclear when poker will officially launch in the metaverse, but Hall did say that a play-money version will roll out first, with a real $Ape money version potentially following.

“We’re gonna open it up,” Hall tweeted. “Let people play with fake money make sure there’s no huge issues, then maybe figure some other fun stuff out.”
Although poker hasn’t gone live yet, Apes have already gotten a glimpse of what the game could look like around the swamp.
