GOING, GOING, GOLD!: J1mmy.Eth Sold Two Gold Mutants Apes With Insane Primate Pedigree For 14.6 ETH!

Mutant Monday was insane as notable Bored Ape Yacht Club member J1mmy.eth sold two gold fur Mutant Apes with some premier primate pedigree to an anonymous buyer for 14.6 ETH, or roughly $31,000 USD, via GONDI.

 

“Golden Yuga Grails are on the move once again at GONDI,” the platfrom tweeted. “MAYC #27634 and #27635 were exchanged via GONDI “Trades” function for 14.60 WETH. Congrats to the new owner.”

 

 

Tonight, we do not know who the mystery buyer is, but we do know they created and funded a brand new wallet specifically for this trade.

We also know these two primates have quite the history.

Both Mutant Apes were created from Bored Ape #8817, a rare gold fur Ape that sold at Sotheby’s on behalf of J1mmy.eth for a collection record setting $3.4 million USD back in October 2021 as part of the auction house’s first metaverse themed collection, dubbed “Natively Digital 1.2: The Collectors.”

“I was pretty bored when it happened,” J1mmy told the Bored Ape Gazette after his record setting sale at the time.
