Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner took to Twitter this evening to give Apes an update on his health and let everyone know how happy he is to see the Bored Ape Yacht Club getting BAYC to Basics.
15 months after Gordon Goner, whose real name is Wylie Arronow, announced that he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure on January 28th, 2023, he took to Twitter this evening to give everyone a ‘Gordo Update’ saying that his health has not been good recently, but he's better now than he was last year.
“Know I haven’t given a Gordo update in a long time. Truth is my health tanked hard again, a little after my last buying spree and it’s just been me trying to figure this shit out. Overall I'm better than when I was first diagnosed, but I’m still not in a great place. Healing from the damage covid did to my heart just hasn’t been a straight line. Upside is I really couldn’t be happier with Greg back in the hotseat. I don’t think a lot of people realize that the past two years, we really weren’t a founder led company, and Yuga needs that energy right now more than ever. Watching @CryptoGarga start to clean up what wasn’t working and re-prioritize the company towards what truly matters has been impressive. His chadification has been making me feel damned proud every day. Very stoked for 2024 and still hope I can join the workflow more when I’m able. Yuga is in good hands.”
Following his post, Apes, Founders, and Web3 Degens took to the comment section and wished him well.
