GRAILS! GRAILS! GRAILS!: Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge Says A New BAYC OTC Desk For Rare Apes Is Opening Soon!

From laser eyes and blue beams to solid gold and trippy furs, grails are about to be going, going, gone around the swamp!

After stepping in as CEO of Yuga Labs last week, Michael Figge announced that one of his first official acts will be setting up an over the counter trading desk for the rarest and most aesthetic Apes, aimed at helping onboard collectors interested in primates that aren’t listed  on OpenSea but may still be available if the price is right.

 

“People don’t usually list grails because… they’re grails,” Figge tweeted. “Collectors want unlisted grails but they don’t know how to start the conversation and these discussions are more nuanced than an anonymous WETH offer on a marketplace. For every transaction we facilitate, we’ll be taking a small fee which will support the club going forward if you are a broker who already facilitates deals, and you'd like our help, we're open to sharing in the upside.”

 

 

The idea of OTC trading for grails has been a big part of the BAYC for years. During the last bull run, BAYC members EB7 and Sen_Eth created the OTC Network and helped connect buyers and sellers, proving there’s strong demand for services like this in the space, closing millions of dollars worth of deals.
