HAPPY BIRB-DAY: Moonbirds Turns Four As The Flock Celebrates Its Anniversary

Happy Birb-day to you!
Thursday marked the fourth anniversary of the Moonbirds mint, and the flock came out to celebrate.
“Moonbirds minted exactly 4 years ago,” the project tweeted. “Today marks the first birthday under OCG's ownership. With over $1.1b in trading volume since launch, the history of Moonbirds is continuing to grow everyday.”
This past year may have been one of the best ones yet for Moonbirds.
As the Gazette previously reported, the project was acquired by Orange Cap Games, led by Spencer, back in May 2025.
Since then, Moonbirds has sold 68,067 of its first edition Blind Boxes, dropped a wave of soulbound NFTs with major dApps and protocols, partnered with Rekt Drinks, and launched its $BIRB token, which is currently sitting at a fully diluted market cap of $154 million.
“Happy birbday everyone, crazy that it hasn't even been a year of OCG owning moonbirds yet,” OrangeCap Games Chief Intern Officer Pax tweeted. “So excited to keep growing with the best community in the world, Stay birbish.”
Looking ahead, the future is looking birb-ish for Moonbirds.
The project not only has months of $BIRB unlocks on the horizon, but it’s also set to be featured in the next season of the popular Vibes TCG trading card game, alongside fellow Web3 frens, Pudgy Penguins, in Q2.
