This notable Bored Ape Yacht Club member rang in the Chinese New Year by ape-ing into a laser eyed Bored Ape.

BAYC member and Crypto Whale Keungz purchased Bored Ape #1556 from notable NFT collector J1mmy.Eth for 145 Eth or $222,000 USD.

Bored Ape #1556 is a six-trait gray fur primate with a toga, a flipped brim BAYC hat, a pipe, and laser eyes. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #1556 is the 621st most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools.

“Get this laser @BoredApeYC in the first day of Chinese New Year Kung Hei Fat Choy ,” Keungz tweeted earlier this week. “Thanks @j1mmyeth for the good deal.”
