HEADS UP, HV-MTLs: Adam Weitsman Reminds Everyone To Reactivate Their Bots Before The January 5 Deadline!

HV-MTLs aren’t spare parts rusting onchain anymore, as the collection’s new owners, Adam Weitsman and Gabe, prepare to reboot the project in 2026. But before that can begin, holders need to reactivate their bots.
It’s the last Monday of 2025, and things are chaotic across Web3 and beyond as people juggle tax loss harvesting and time with their families. But amid the holiday hustle, HV-MTL owner and prolific NFT collector Adam Weitsman reminded his holders to take a moment and reactivate their HV-MTLs; which is the first step toward everything he’s got planned for the project.
“We are sparing no expense to make HV-MTL legendary. But we need you to take the first step with us,” he tweeted. “You have 1 week left. Activate your HVs. Detach your AMPs. We’re building something for the long term but this first window closes on January 5th and we don’t have a date yet for the second window. Don’t let your HVs gather dust.”
Activaitng your HV-MTLs s as easy as just a few clicks. Simply visit the new HV-MTL website, connect your wallet, and click “CLAIM / ACTIVATE.”
From there, select your HV-MTLs, then confirm the burn for activation and Amps.
After that, you’ll be left with a standalone NFT for your activated HV-MTL and all of your Bot’s Amp pieces.
As the Gazette previously reported, following this reactivation period, HV-MTL Holders will eventually be forced to make a choice, either upgrade their Bot to its EV02 form by using six Amps or burn the Bot to receive a new HV-MTL Pet!
