HV-MTL Forge Season 5 Began Today And Its All About Bored Ape Yacht Club Community& History!

Season five of the Bored Ape Yacht Club's HV-MTL Forge is so good (YES) and is entirely dedicated to the club's culture, filled with numerous callbacks and references to the history of the swamp!

On Thursday, the BAYC’s trippy fourth season came to an end and a new fren focused season began!

Season five,titled ‘community,' is filled with BAYC themed easter eggs and nods. During this shortened two-week season, HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs will be able to unlock and craft six items that are culturally relevant to the Yugaverse!

“The new unlockable items for Season 5 are made up of Community easter eggs in this short-and-sweet two-week season,” the BAYC tweeted.

The items that players can craft this season include the inflatable Curtis from the Second Ape Fest, the Mutant Mobile prize from the BAYC’s Apes Vs. Mutants Mobile game competition, BAYC posts and Yes reply copypasta from earlier this year, the death nuts challenge, DooKey Dashing for companions, and of course a sign reminding folks to hop offline and ‘touch grass!’

Along with these community callbacks, HV-MTL season five also includes new opportunities for Forgers to earn passive votes!

“Three new missions, three chances to rack up more votes,” the BAYC tweeted. “Missions will give you votes for each completed task. Completing all tasks in a mission will give you a passive vote for each day. For more info, head to Forge’s FAQ.”

Looking ahead, season five of the HV-MTL Forge is set to end on Thursday October 12th, and will be followed by season six that will end one day before Ape Fest on November 2nd!

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Rift in the HV-MTL Forge opened, and the Hunt began on September 14th. HV-MTL holders and their Mechs should continue building their HV-Homes and exploring the mysterious unknown to prepare for the final HV-MTL boss battle that the community will fight in season six!

"It’s time to prepare your HV for expeditions, and adventure into the Rift," the BAYC wrote in its Forge gaming guide. "You’ll gather resources in the different biomes to prepare your HV for combat. Don’t dilly-dally — the Final Boss is waiting, and he’s kind of an asshole.”
