"I LIKE APES": BAYC Member No Name Ape Purchases A Trippy Fur Primate For $44K!

From atten-hut to atten-trippy! Yesterday was anything but boring around the swamp after one of the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s most avid collectors added another trippy fur primate to his collection simply because he likes Apes.

 

On Monday, BAYC member No_Name_Ape purchased Bored Ape #820 for 23.5 ETH, or $44,200 USD.

 

Bored Ape #820 is a seven trait trippy fur primate with a Vietnam era helmet, a Gayabera shirt, and a silver stud earring, making him the 1,165th rarest primate around the swamp, accoridng to OpenSea data.

 

After his buy No_Name_Ape told the Gazette that his decision to purchase this primate was simple. “ You know I see nice ape I buy,” he said.  “Don’t know why but I buy it … I like apes.”

As the Gazette previously reported, No_Name_Ape has liked Apes for a while now and began making waves around the swamp back in 2024 when he acquired his first trippy fur primate.

“I started snipping grails because there are incredible deals these days and you can get amazing apes,” he told the Gazette at the time. “I am bullish on the club, want to position myself for the future, and also want to put Europe on the map. I want to shout out to the Czech & Slovak Ape Yacht Club because they helped negotiate some of them. We are building a strong community here.”
