When it comes to any raffle or giveaway, some people will have hundreds of chances while others may only have a few. But around the swamp this weekend, one Bored Ape Yacht Club member proved it only takes two tickets and a little luck to win big!
Out of the 2,878 participants from around the swamp and beyond who printed a combined 134,833 raffle tickets in hopes of winning one of the 300 Daniel Arsham Voyager bots, BAYC member Crypto Goof managed to secure a winning spot with just two entries in what can only be described as insane luck for an insane Mutant Ape!
“GM Was pretty crazy when I checked my wallet last night to see I had won the @OthersideMeta raffle for a @DanielArsham Voyager mint pass with only 2 tickets,” he tweeted. “Shoutout to @mfigge and everyone at @yugalabs for creating a truly fair raffle experience where anyone could win! As somebody who comes from the sneakerhead world, I haven’t seen a fair raffle in many years.”
“Honestly I had a weird feeling that maybe it could still happen because I knew it would be truly fair,” a surprised Crypto Goof said.
As the Gazette previously reported, these allowlist spots have quickly become hot commodities, with passes currently sitting at a floor price of more than 12,000 $Ape, or roughly $1,900 USD, as collectors everywhere try to get a piece of this historic drop blending fine art and Web3 culture like never before.
For Crypto Goof , the journey isn’t over yet. He told the Gazette he now plans to see if his lucky streak continues tomorrow when he officially mints his Arsham Voyager, hoping to pull an Ultra Rare Verdigris bot.
