LIL PUDGY, BIG IMPACT: Pudgy Penguins’ STMcFly Has Been Lending A Flipper At His Local Target Stores And Fixing Up Pax And Polly Plush Displays For Weeks!

Pudgy Penguins plushies are among the 30,000 to 40,000 items lining the shelves at Target’s nearly 2,000 stores across the United States. And while the big box retailer does its best to keep everything neat, stocked, and looking good, there’s only so much employees can do. Luckily, there are Lil Pudgys like STMcFly out there lending a flipper and making a big impact!
In July, Pudgy Penguins announced that its new Pax and Polly plushies were officially waddling into Target stores across the United States.
Each of these stuffed animals costs $10.99 and sits alongside plush toys from some of the biggest brands in the world. But with that much merchandise packed onto store shelves, the toy section can get messy fast, sometimes making it harder for shoppers to come face to face with crypto’s cutest IP.
Luckily for the brand, it has holders like STMcFly who are taking it upon themselves to tidy up their local Target displays and make sure Pax and Polly are always looking plush, organized, and ready to get purchased!
“I’ve been doing it every weekend since they launched in Target,” STMcFly told the Gazette. “I am a very picky consumer. And I know that sometimes a kid or a parent can make a quick purchase choice if something catches their eye. A clean display can make the difference.”
STMcFly has been a Pengu maxi for years, has a display of Pudgy Penguins merch at home, and has even had a couple of his Penguins featured in the brand’s Vibes TCG card game sets. So making sure Pax and Polly look their best isn’t just brand loyalty. It’s personal.
“WhatI love about being in Web3 is caring for brands I believe in and I feel a duty to make any difference I can,” he said. “Multiply that by tons of holders, you have your own merchandisers in the field helping consumers make a choice. Maybe it’s not the largest impact, but it’s way better than letting toys sit there as a mess.”
For STMcFly, that’s the bigger idea. One holder straightening up one shelf may not move mountains or floor pirce, but a community of holders doing the same thing across the country can help a brand always put its best flipper forward!
