INSANITY IS ON THE WAY: Mutant Apes 3D Models Are Coming To DashBo "Soon." Here's What You Need To Know!

Bored Ape Yacht Club members are creating with their 3D models today, and their Mutant frens will be joining the fun “soon!”

On Wednesday, BAYC member Rida’s Inceptive Studio launched its ApeCoin DAO-funded user-generated content platform, DashBo, and invited everyone with a Bored Ape to ape in and create with their primates in just a few clicks.

 

As Bored Apes began filling the timeline with twerking videos, memes, and more, Mutant Apes were left asking, “Wen Mutant?” The answer: soon!

“Wen Mutants? Soon,” the BAYC tweeted. “What about other Yuga NFTs? Soon after Mutants.”

 

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported,  on a recent episode of the Vera The Intern Podcast, Yuga Labs CEO Garga said that Mutant Apes were  “absolutely bonkers” and so detailed that they had to be released in two phases.

 

The first phase will be a collaboration with Rida’s DashBo platform, which launched today. Here, community members will be able to model their Mutants and create user-generated content to flood the timeline just like their fellow Bored Apes!

 

 

The second phase of the Mutant Ape 3D model launch will feature the official Yuga Labs 3D models for Otherside. These fully metaverse-ready models will launch after Yuga Labs introduces the first iteration of the persistent Otherside later this summer.

 

“The final Otherside compatible, Yuga 3D Mutant models, we are a little bit off on still,” Garga told Vera in January. “Because we have been spending a lot of energy on making that June date for the persistent state. So, Mutants will be a bit after that. It won’t be before June for the Yuga ones, but the DashBo should be soon.”

 

While the exact release date for DashBo Mutants is still unknown, Rida and the Inceptive team gave everyone a glimpse of the insanity to come with their Mutant Curtis, aka Murtis, model making waves around the swamp!
