Things were eerie in the Yugaverse this morning as this Anonymous Crypto whale’s seven-figure offer on an undead CryptoPunk was accepted by Mr. Xiao.

As many in the Yugaverse were asleep on Monday,  a staggering zombie CryptoPunk sale lurched across the blockchain as Mr. Xiao accepted a 320 Eth or $1.1 million dollar offer from Wallet 0x1d1e69c2219dab88ad05b9c74e807df89dcef3cb for CryptoPunk #2306.

CryptoPunk #2306 is a three attribute Zombie type Punk with a thin mohawk, an earring, and a cigarette. Based on these traits, CryptoPunk #2306 is the 957th most punk CryptoPunk, according to Rarity Sniper.

Following the sale, many NFT enthusiasts from across the Yugaverse took to Twitter and to on this spooky sale, with many saying ‘Free’ and ‘NFTs are dead.’

 

 

At this time, we do not know much about this Punk’s mystery buyer. But we do know that they have been slowly moving Ethereum from a Mexc exchange account to Wallet 0x1d1e69  and making offers on high end CryptoPunks for the last 180 days, according to Etherscan data.
