LICENSE TO BUILD: Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Received Their MBA (Made By Apes) Diplomas Last Night

There was special swamp commencement last night at the Bored Ape Yacht Club as many ‘Made By Apes’ builders put on their caps and gowns and accepted their license to build MBAs!

Pomp and Circumstance echoed across the swamp last night as Yuga Labs and Saasy Labs handed out their first batch of Made By Apes diplomas!

"We're excited to announce that the first round of MBA licenses have been accepted," the BAYC tweeted. "Apes who have been approved should head over to https://madeby.yuga.com/apes to claim their MBA license and logo."

“Y'all can finally tell your parents you got your MBA," Yuga Labs’ PP Man tweeted.

After the diplomas were given out, several recipients took to Twitter to thank the community for their support!

“Wake Up Bored has officially been approved by Made by Apes,” BAYC member Mr. Awake tweeted after his application was approved. “This is all thanks to you all. It might be the first approval in Korea, right? Love you all”

Following last night’s MBA announcment, Saasy Labs Founder RichyRich took to Twitter and said that he’s looking forward to seeing what ‘Made By Apes' builders do next!

“Birthday gift to me was the @SaaSyLabs ENG team pushing through the night to bring license approvals/mints live today,” he tweeted. “It’s exciting building Made by Apes and now that licenses are being issued I’m looking forward to everyone seeing what comes next.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs’ Made By Apes program went live on July 24th and every bored builder is invited to sign up!

“Made by Apes empowers holder-creators of BAYC and MAYC NFTs by verifying, supporting, and amplifying goods or services they offer using their BAYC and MAYC NFTs,” Yuga Labs wrote on the Made By Apes Website. “The Made by Apes program authenticates that licensees own a BAYC or MAYC NFT and grants a license to use the Yuga-made Made by Apes logo in connection with their products or services.”

This License will give Apes’ products and services more legitimacy as Yuga Labs confirms via on chain data that these goods are in fact ‘made by Apes!’

Further, BAYC members who obtain a license will also receive a customized ‘Made by Apes’ logo with a license number that Apes can use in connection to their Yuga Labs approved endeavor!

Along with a custom logo for their ‘Made by Apes’ business, BAYC members who join the program will also have their goods and services showcased in Yuga Labs’ online Bodega.

“The Bodega will display all Made by Ape licensees,” Yuga labs wrote on its Made by Apes website. “You will be able to browse through other BAYC and MAYC community built products that use their BAYC and MAYC NFTs to build their brand. It is also a great way to check if a product with a Made by Apes logo has a valid license. The Bodega and the Made by Apes logo are not an endorsement of the projects/products displayed. The Bodega will be launched later this summer.”
