A LOOK INTO THE VOID: Yuga Labs Shares a New 3D-Modeled Look at a Chaos Otherdeed!

The Yugaverse is looking into the 3D-modeled void this evening after Yuga Labs shared a new photo of a Chaos Otherdeed that’s frighteningly beautiful!

Apes, Meebs, Voyagers, and more were in awe on Friday after Yuga Labs took to the timeline with a 3D-modeled look at a Chaos Otherdeed featuring a massive portal that seemed to draw viewers in.

 

After the post, the community responded with comments ranging from “I need this lol” to “sheeesh,” along with questions about the portals and where they lead.

While there’s still a lot we don't know about Chaos Otherdeeds, we do know that the Kodas’ ancestral homeworld of Nexus is built atop one, and that the portals are used to connect realms, according to Yuga Labs CEO Garga.

“Think of Nexus as the ancestral home of the Kodas, with an enormous Koda temple at its center,” Garga wrote in January 2025. “It’s the central hub for all Otherside, connecting realms and biomess through a vast network of portals. in its prime, Nexus was illuminated by Soma, which is the creation energy you saw Blue bottling up in the Otherside B.C. trailer but chaos, the other energy we see in the trailer and throughout Otherside, has really fucked the place up these days.... it is a Chaos environment but a major city similar to Meetropolis. it's near the site of the temple we see in the second Otherside trailer."

With Nexus being built atop a Chaos Otherdeed, the Yugaverse won't have to wait long to learn more about this mystical land. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Nexus will be a permanent destination when the first iteration of the persistent metaverse opens in June.
