Swamp style is swinging into the mainstream as the Bored Ape Yacht Club X A Bathing Ape Season 2 collection dropped online and in stores worldwide!
Things were anything but boring on Saturday, as BAYC and BAPE opened their online store to the public and began stocking brick-and-mortar locations with what they call the “quintessential beach collection for degens!”
“The BAPE® X BAYC Season 2 global launch is now live,” the BAYC tweeted. “All restrictions have been removed for globally available items and some items have been restocked due to canceled orders. http://store.boredapeyachtclub.com”
The BAYC X BAPE public drop includes a BAPE X BAYC Baby Milo Figurine, sunglasses, furry slides, a BAYC Shark Hoodie, a lightweight jacket, a polo, a blue Hawaiian shirt, swim trunks, a towel, and a special edition Bored Ape Beer created in collaboration with Made By Apes brand, Bored Brewing Co.
After the collection's release, Apes and Web3 degens shared photos from BAPE stores worldwide showcasing the collaboration.
“Walked into a BAPE store in Tokyo Immediately I see the BAYC x BAPE collab drop,” Magic Eden Lab Rat Voh tweeted. “Love or hate Bored Ape, they’re doing some really cool shit.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, BAYC members had early access to the BAYC X BAPE collection starting on September 12, along with the opportunity to purchase three exclusive members-only items.
Looking ahead, BAYC and BAPE are set to release Phase 2 of this collection this October, which will feature two BAYC X BAPE SHARK STA Shoes, each limited to just 1,000 pairs. Check them out below:
