MEET THE CANDIDATE: CryptoLogically Is Running For A Spot On The DAO's Discourse Facilitator Team

ApeCoin DAO Contributor and Discourse Facilitator nominee, Chris, AKA CryptoLogically, believes that he's the logical choice for the ApeCoin DAO's Discourse Facilitator team.

Election 2023 is heating up around the swamp as 14 ApeCoin DAO contributors threw their hats in the ring and announced their candidacies for ApeCoin DAO's Discourse Facilitator team earlier this month.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the DAO approved of the creation of a three-person, community led, Discourse moderation team last month when it passed Ape Improvement Proposal-240.

This team will be responsible for “overseeing the proposal process, moderating discussions, enforcing rules, and promoting positive community engagement based on DAO-approved guidelines,” according to the DAO. Each Discourse team member will serve a three-month term and will earn $8,000 USD per month.

One of the candidates running for a spot on the Discourse moderation team is ApeCoin DAO Contributor Chris AKA CryptoLogically.

"As a Trust Level 3 and one of the most active users and readers within Discourse, I am familiar with the entire scope and history of Discourse, the cadence, language, categories, and active user base,” Chris wrote on his ApeCoin candidate page. “I’m an excellent communicator with fine attention to detail, as well as committed to the successful operation of the ApeCoin DAO as a whole. I’m an ideal candidate for this position."

1.In a sentence or two why should the $Ape community vote for you?

"The community should vote for me because as a regular Discourse user and long-tenured community member uniquely familiar with the timing, cadence, and specifications of the AIP process, I will be able to “hit the ground running” and immediately get to work on the smooth facilitation of AIPs through the process pipeline.”

2.What made you want to run for Discourse Facilitator team?

“I wanted to run for Facilitator because I was impressed by the way our community members took the reins from Cartan and managed to make the process even smoother, and I knew I could help contribute to that ongoing improvement.”

3. What sets you apart from the other nominees?

“My track record, commitment, knowledge of and participation in our DAO sets me apart from virtually all other nominees.”

4.What do you hope to accomplish during your term?

“I hope to not only match the standard of responsiveness set by Lost, Amplify and Vulkan, but improve upon it. We have much work to do, and I aim to set the example of efficiency and professionalism emblematic of the DAO that whoever steps into the position next should follow.”

5. How did you get into Web3 and NFTs?

“I’ve been a collector my whole life, from baseball cards to comic books, so NFTs became a natural extension of that interest.”

6. Do you have anything else you’d like to add or say?

“I’ve never been more excited about an opportunity in my life. Here’s to an amazing election season!”
