From the South Pole to the swamp, the Pudgy Penguins are waddling to the United States capital, presumably to peng-liferate the brand and lobby for crypto.

“Guess what we’re doing,” Pudgy Penguins tweeted long with a ticket to DC in Flipper as Pax boards his flight.
While nothing has been confirmed about what the Pudgy Penguins are doing in Washington yet, we do know that the brand’s Co-Founder and President, Lorenzo, along with strategy lead Vedant, are making the trip.
“This DC trip is going to be a super special one,” Vedant said. “Excited to share the details with you all soon.”
As we wait for more information about the Pudgy Penguins’ trip to Washington, we already know that these flightless birds are politically well connected.

Back in January 2026, the team met with Securities and Exchange Commissioner Hester Peirce and left feeling “very optimistic about the future of crypto.”
We also know that several congressmen, including Tim Moore, William Timmons, and Mike Rulli, have previously “embraced the penguin,” changing their profile pictures to Pengu versions of themselves.

The Gazette will continue to follow Pudgy Penguins as they take on D.C. and will let you know if they have a Citizen Kane-esque moment on Capitol Hill. Stay tuned for updates!
