Things are anything but boring down in the swamp as collectors play in the Mudwater like never before!
On Wednesday, Yuga Labs announced that Mudwater Trading Card Game collectors can now combine 24 digital packs into a sealed booster box, turn 10 boxes into a case or break everything back down into individual packs with just a few clicks!

“The Mudwater's combine tab on https://mudwater.bayc.com/reconstruct/ lets you combine your digital packs into booster boxes and cases, or deconstruct them right back down. More ways to organize, stack, and manage your collection are now live.”
As the Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs stealth launched Mudwater, in partnership with Orange Cap Games, during ApeFest 2026 at Beeple Studios earlier this month.

To celebrate the launch, everyone in attendance was gifted a Mudwater game set featuring a box containing 24 packs of cards. Meanwhile, every Bored Ape and Mutant Ape was airdropped 10 packs per BAYC and two packs per MAYC they hold!
“Mudwater is an old game played deep in the Everglades,” BAYC tweeted at the time. “Instead of dice in alleys, we play Mudwater on the docks. The game is simple, but the skill ceiling is high. And we play for keeps.”
Unlike traditional trading card games, Mudwater's phygital collectibles exsisit in both the physical and digital worlds but not at the same time. This allows collectors to hold and trade tokenized representations of cards and sealed products backed by physical inventory in a warehouse somewhere!
“Every rip is paired to a sequential physical rip, handled by professionals in a secure room within a warehouse,” Yuga Labs’ VP of Blockchain 0xQuit tweeted earlier this month. “Filmed, hashed, published onchain, and metadata is applied to your card at rip time.”
Since Mudwater's launch, community members have been ripping open digital packs in search of the game's eight 1/1 cards hoping to cash in on Adam Weitsman’s 100K Bounty, while others have been collecting individual cards based on their artwork, gameplay or rarity.

But for those looking to keep their Mudwater sealed, Wednesday's update introduces a whole new way to collect!
With the launch of the reconstruct feature, collectors can turn loose digital packs into sealed booster boxes, combine those boxes into full cases or break them back down into individual packs without opening anythig, giving collectors more flexibility than ever before!
Tonight, individual Mudwater packs had a floor price of 0.838 SOL, or $85, on OpenSea, while booster boxes were listed for 50 SOL, or roughly $5,100. No cases were listed at the time of this article’s publciaiton, but three of them have been created.
Looking ahead, Mudwater collectors can also expect to see ‘convert’ coming soon. This will turn digital collectibles into their physical counterparts and verified physical collectibles to be brought onchain, further bridging the gap between this TCG’s two worlds!
