MY OH MIMU!: ApeChain Collector Kevie Gifts Adam Weitsman His Mega Mutant Ape’s Matching Mimu!

Talk about a match made in heaven...or hell.

Mutant Monday came with a devilish surprise for HV-MTL owner and prolific NFT collector Adam Weitsman, who woke up to find something scary waiting in his wallet from fellow ApeChain collector Kevie, a one of one demonic Mimu that perfectly matches his iconic Mega Mutant Ape.

 

“Thank you for the amazing Mimu gift @One_Eyed_Kevie !!!! Epic brother !!!!!! Will never sell. Appreciate you Sir.”

 

For Kevie, gifting the one of one Mimu was an easy decision after seeing the impact Weitsman has had on both the NFT space and through his charitable work.

“One of my favorite Otherside-active communities is Mimus on Apechain,” he told the Gazette. “I won this 1/1 Warlord Prime in an ApeChurch NFT pack giveaway shortly after the Mimu mint, and since Adam owns it's epic MAYC twin I've always thought it belonged with him.  When I saw on the timeline his recent charity fundraise with Make-A-Wish, I just thought it was a great moment to give the gift.  It's a huge win for us Mimus to have Adam in.”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Mimu is an ApeChain collection of 5,555 "Monsters In My Universe" created by longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member and OtherGames Co-Founder Hype.

 

Since minting just a few months ago, the project has continued to build momentum across ApeChain, attracting a passionate community of collectors while expanding its presence throughout the ecosystem and Otherside!

 

The Mimu Kevie gifted to Weitsman is his very first, and Kevie told the Gazette he couldn't be happier to welcome one of Web3's most recognizable collectors into the growing Mimu community while bringing a Mega Mutant Ape and its monstrous counterpart together.
