NEW PFP: Yuga Labs Updates Its Otherside Accounts Profile Photo To Something Circular!

Things are anything but boring around the swamp today after Yuga Labs updated its Otherside account’s profile photo from a Koda face silhouette to something circular, leading everyone to think something is brewing.

As thousands of Bored Ape Yacht Club members get ready for ApeFest 2025 in Las Vegas, the club’s parent company, Yuga Labs, quietly changed its Otherside X account’s PFP to something new, a white dot inside a circle.

 

 

At this time, nothing has been confirmed about the PFP update, but many couldn’t help but notice that it looks a lot like X’s Grok logo or a Poké Ball.

“Otherside quietly rebranded and changed their logo There is no fucking way. I might lose my shit if it even hints to…,” longtime BAYC DFarmer tweeted.

 

 

 

At the time of this article’s publication, Yuga Labs has not officially commented on the logo change. However, BAYC member Dim.Eth pointed out that it’s not the first time we’ve seen this image.

“Not a new logo tho, it’s been around for a while. These stickers were distributed at the Otherside event during ApeFest 2024,” he tweeted along with a photo.

 

 

Whatever this new logo means for Otherside, we could find out tonight at ApeFest during Yuga Labs CEO Garga’s keynote speech.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Garga recently did an interview with DCRoth and was asked about ApeFest alpha, where he talked about this being a huge moment for the metaverse.

“When I took back over as CEO a year and a half ago, I really wanted Otherside to fulfill its vision and ambition,” he said. “To me that meant creating a really rich vibrant world that anyone in our community would love to explore, fall in love with the visuals, and enable it to be the best place for creators to monetize their own 3d worlds and experiences. I think we are on the precipice of fulfilling that vision. Now that’s the start of something, it’s not the end.”
