'SEE YOU IN SOUTH CAROLINA': BAYC Members Started Claiming Their ApeFest 2026 Tickets Yesterday And There's Still Time To Ape In!

Things were anything but boring yesterday as the window for Bored Ape Yacht Club members to claim their ApeFest 2026 tickets officially opened!
Like previous ApeFests, tickets are being distributed on a first come, first served basis. BAYC members can claim one complimentary ticket, though attendees must place a refundable $169 deposit to reserve their spot. Plus One tickets will cost $269.
But unlike years past, this year’s ticketing process was handled through Yuga Labs’ new wallet solution, Glyph, instead of Tokenproof, and it seemed to make the entire process smoother than ever.
Apes everywhere reported short queues and no major hiccups as they secured their tickets to the year’s biggest meet-up of primates!
“This may be the smoothest experience that BAYC has done yet,” Boring Security’s NFT Drew tweeted. “Well done.”
As the Gazette previously reported, ApeFest 2026 will take place from October 16–18 in Charleston, South Carolina, with the main event taking place at crypto artist Beeple’s studio.
According to the schedule, the club’s official festivities will begin on Friday the 16th with the opening of the ApeFest pop up shop at Charleston Union Station, located at 652A King St. There, attendees will be able to browse exclusive merchandise, pick up their event wristbands, and connect with fellow community members. This pop up shop will be open all ApeFest weekend from 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Further, main ApeFest event is October 17, at Beeple’s Studio, located at 2325 Charleston Regional Parkway. Registration begins at 6 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m., and the event will go until midnight.
Tickets are still available for this year’s event, so BAYC members who have been on the fence about attending still have time to ape in.
