NFT Investor Pranksy Repurchased A Gold Fur Bored Ape He Minted 6 Months Ago For 333 ETH

This Bored Ape Yacht Club member and his gold fur primate were reunited this morning after six months apart.
BAYC collector Pranksy repurchased Bored Ape #1837 for 333 Eth or $1,558,000 USD. Bored Ape #1837 is a six trait gold fur ape with crazy eyes, a wool turtleneck and a short mohawk. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #1837 is the 246th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.
“Welcome home @BoredApeYC #1837,” Pranksy tweeted after the purchase.
Pranksy, who at one time owned about 10% of the entire BAYC collection, originally minted Bored ape #1837 on May 1st. Three weeks later The notable BAYC investor transferred the gold fur primate to Opensea user Skynine who then sold the ape for 11.49 Eth. From there, Bored Ape #1837 was sold two more times before Pranksy repurchased him for 333 ETH.

After repurchasing Bored Ape #1837, Pranksy now owns two bored apes worth at least 652.5 Eth, according to Evaluate. Market.
