ON THE BALLOT: JRNYClub Wants Las Vegas' First Friday Events To Be Sponsored By ApeCoin

The journey to onboard the Las Vegas masses to $Ape continues this voting cycle as JRNYClub returns to the DAO with an Ape Improvement Proposal to make ApeCoin a presenting sponsor for Sin City’s 'First Friday' events!

AIP-432 titled “ApeCoin Presents First Friday: Bridging Communities, Creativity, and Governance,” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member, Otherside mogul, and $Ape whale, JRNY, and his JRNYClub.

“’ApeCoin Presents First Friday’ is a landmark initiative that transcends traditional sponsorship,” JRNYClub wrote. “It’s a comprehensive strategy aimed at fostering long-term engagement with the Las Vegas community, promoting the adoption of Web3 technologies, and establishing ApeCoin as a pivotal force in the cultural, economic, and governance landscapes of Las Vegas. Through this partnership, we envision a future where ApeCoin is integral to the city’s vibrant cultural scene, supported by a governance framework that embraces the transformative potential of digital currencies.”

By becoming a presenting sponsor of Las Vegas’ First Friday events, the ApeCoin DAO will amplify its brand while engaging with both its community and the general public. The DAO will also receive presenting spaces to promote $Ape and $Ape-powered brands, connect with local officials, and be a catalyst for Web-3 friendly city development, among other things, according to JRNYClub.

“We have the opportunity to place ApeCoin at the heart of a cultural gathering that attracts 15,000-20,000 visitors on average, offering unparalleled exposure and the access to creative collaborations within a community rich in art and innovation,” JRNYClub wrote.

In total, JRNYClub is asking the ApeCoin DAO to allocate 225,000 $Ape to this endeavor. With the money, $Ape will become First Friday’s presenting sponsor for six months. Additionally, JRNYClub will use the remaining funds to hire an event manager and staffing, as well as cover other costs and fees associated with showcasing $Ape. The window to vote on AIP-432 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until Wednesday, June 19th, to cast their coins and vote on this AIP.
