ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Aims To Have The ApeCoin DAO Ape Into Pro Gaming& Sponsor An eSports Arena
This professional gamer wants the ApeCoin DAO to tap into the world of pro gaming and become the title sponsor of Miami’s ROK eSports Arena in this Ape Improvement Proposal!
AIP-343 titled “Miami ApeCoin eSports Arena Partnership,” is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor and pro Fortnite Player Orangie.
“The proposal is geared towards forming a strategic partnership with ROK eSports Arena in Miami, elevating ApeCoin’s profile and fostering Web3 gaming awareness,” Orangie wrote. “The focus is on titles adopting ApeCoin as in-game currency, bridging the gap between traditional and blockchain-based gaming landscapes.”
The ROK eSports Arena is a 5,500 square foot in real life lan center in Miami Florida where gamers “unite, compete, and create unforgettable memories," according to its website.
“This partnership aims to embed ApeCoin within the emerging Web3 gaming community, resonating with the APE Community’s ethos,” Orangie wrote. “The outreach from tournaments, creator cups, and a strong social media campaign will extend ApeCoin’s influence within the gaming sector.”
In total, Orangie is asking the ApeCoin DAO to allocate $200,000 USD worth of $Ape towards becoming the eSports Arena’s title sponsor.
Along with his written proposal, Orangie also made a video that went into more detail about what a partnership between $Ape and the ROK eSports Arena could look like from $Ape themed gaming gear to NFTs and ApeCoin branding throughout the venue!
The window to vote on AIP-343 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO contributors have until Wednesday, November 15th, to cast their coins.
