ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Aims To Make $Ape Logos Available To DAO Funded Projects

The ApeCoin DAO is voting on an Ape Improvement Proposal that aims to make a powered by $Ape logo available to initiatives that make it through the proposal process!

AIP-274 titled “ApeCoin Powered” & Powered by ApeCoin” Logo implementation,” is a brand proposal written by ApeCoin Special Council member Gerry.

“The introduction of the ‘ApeCoin Powered’ and ‘Powered by ApeCoin’ logos aims to foster a sense of unity and shared identity within our diverse community,” Gerry wrote in AIP-274. “By visibly marking and endorsing initiatives that operate exclusively with ApeCoin, we are not only increasing the utility and recognition of ApeCoin but also encouraging more projects to adopt it. This visual token of affiliation would contribute to a stronger sense of belonging within our ecosystem, further solidifying the connection among members and fostering collaborative growth.”

"In AIP-274, Gerry shared four different logos powered by ApeCoin that funded projects could use to demonstrate their alignment with theDAO, with the hope that more projects ape into the $Ape ecosystem!

“The introduction of these logos acts as a visual representation of ApeCoin’s reach and influence across various projects, thereby bolstering its recognition and usage within the ecosystem,” Gerry wrote. “This initiative encourages more platforms to adopt ApeCoin.”

Take a look at the logos below:

In total, AIP-274 will not cost the DAO anything and the logos will be immediately distributed to DAO funded projects if this proposal is passed.

The window to vote on AIP-274 opens tonight at 9 P.M. EST and $Apes will have until next Wednesday, July 5th, to cast their coins and vote on this proposal.

The Bored Ape Gazette is working to find out more about this proposal. Stay tuned for updates!
