ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Aims To Tell The Legend Of ApeCoin In A 12-Part Animated Series

We’re rolling! This Ape Improvement Proposal aims to tell The Legend of ApeCoin through animation.

AIP-168 titled “The Legend of ApeCoin: Atrium Casting Call,” is an Ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor Anaroth.

“This proposal introduces an ecosystem-wide casting call to all eligible IP Holders powered by ApeCoin,” Anaroth wrote. “The animators of Atrium have experience with Disney, Pixar, HBO, Netflix & more and await the opportunity to co-create with community members. Funding this proposal showcases ApeCoin’s dedication to providing new avenues for creators and results in 12 animations under a 'Legend of ApeCoin”'theme."

In total, Anaroth is asking the DAO to allocate $200,000 USD to create the 12 one minute long animated shorts based on various community members IPs. Take a look at the cost breakdown below:

“This ‘Legend of ApeCoin’ proposal reflects ApeCoin’s value of boldness,” Anaroth wrote. “We know that storytelling is no easy task, and cinematic animation is incredibly difficult to produce. This, however, doesn’t mean that Hollywood-level production quality is unattainable. This proposal allows IP owners to build a story and universe around their desired character to share that story in the form of a beautifully crafted piece of animated content with the world.”
