ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Wants To Build Paper Models Of The ApeCoin DAO's Logo

You have heard of paper airplanes, but what about paper $Apes? There is an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this week that aims to reimagine the ApeCoin DAO’s logo in paper form.

AIP-322 titled ‘ApeCoin Papercraft,’ is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor Ape_PaperCraft.

“The project involves creating a papercraft model of the Apecoin logo, digital (unlimited edition) and physical (101 units limit edition),” Ape_PaperCraft wrote. “The papercraft model will be designed to be easily printable and assembled by anyone, and will be made available for free to the Apecoin community.”

For those who are unfamiliar, paper crafting is a hobby where enthusiasts cut, fold, and glue paper together to build 3d models.

Take a look at Ape_PaperCraft’s concept art for a paper crafted $Ape logo below:

“The physical papercraft model is a unique and novel way to engage with the Apecoin community,” Ape_PaperCraft wrote. “It provides a tangible representation of the Apecoin brand that people can display and share with others.”

In total, Ape_PaperCraft is asking the DAO to allocate $8,798.15 USD worth of ApeCoin to create the instructions and models for an $Ape papercraft, the creation of 101 $Ape papercraft physical sets, and the creation of a digital $Ape papercraft that can be given to everyone.

If passed, Ape_PaperCraft believes that they can have this proposal completed in 11-12 weeks.

The window to vote on AIP-322 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until Wednesday, October 18, to vote on this proposal.
