ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Wants To Give The $Ape Ecosystem The Tools To Launch Memecoins on ApeChain

As the ApeChain train gets ready to leave the station and launch as part of the Arbitrum Orbit chain ecosystem later this summer, there is an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this cycle that hopes to be a driving force for memecoin creation and on-chain fun!

AIP-433 titled ‘APE EXPRESS - Next Gen degen tools for building instantly on ApeChain,’ is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor and Founder of Crypto Is Fun, Koko.

“Ape Express aims to launch the ultimate toolkit for a thriving memecoin ecosystem on ApeChain, empowering users with the tools they need to create, customize and deploy tokens on ApeChain,” Koko wrote. “With Ape Express no technical skills are needed for safe, unruggable launches. Configure and deploy your token with multiple features in seconds.”

With Koko’s Ape Express, $Ape builders will have access to various tools and features to make their own coins and $Ape holders will new opportunities to earn, trade, and degen in the $Ape ecosystem.

“Token creators will have an option and be encouraged to airdrop portion of their supply to the holders of the blue chip collections of Yuga ecosystem,” Koko explained. “BAYC/MAYC/BAKC, CryptoPunks, Kodas, Moonbirds and Mocaverse holders. This will bring benefit to the holders of these collections and, at the same time, give the upcoming projects an opportunity to reach the high quality user bases that are the lifeblood of these collections. All of these processes are streamlined in the dapp so that anyone can do it with a few clicks of a button.This project aims to expand the ApeCoin ecosystem, increase token velocity, TVL and offer new opportunities for the builders in the ApeChain ecosystem.”

In total, Koko is asking the ApeCoin DAO to allocate 750,000 $APE to Ape Express. With these funds, Koko and his team will use 400,000 $APE as reserves for liquidity loans, and the remaining 350,000 $APE will be used for marketing and onboarding incentives.

“None of the funds requested in this proposal will be spent on development or team salary,” Koko wrote. “This proposal aims to bootstrap platform liquidity and the Ape Express marketing budget.”

If Ape Express is passed, the ApeCoin DAO will  also receive 10% of the platform's gross revenue, accoridng to Koko.

 

The window to vote on AIP-433 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until Wednesday, June 19th, to cast their coins and vote on this proposal.
