ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Wants To Put Bored Apes Best Face Forward On ApeChain!

There is an Ape Improvement Proposal that aims to put Bored Apes’ best ‘face’ forward by airdropping community members front-facing derivatives of their primates on ApeChain throughout the year!

AIP-482, titled “ApeFacingApes – Amplifying the IP usage of BAYC and generating value for the entire Ape Ecosystem,” is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by Bored Ape Yacht Club member and ApesFacingApes Founder Srsly.

“ApeFacingApes delivers value to all Ape holders by better utilizing their IP,” Srly wrote. “It not only gives holders a fresh perspective, but also tools to better monetize it. This will benefit the whole Ape- and Apecoin- Ecosystem.”

In AIP-482, Srsly and the ApesFacingApes team plan to create three new forward-facing primate derivatives each month for the next three years, totaling 108 forward-facing ape derivatives for every member of the BAYC.

“(This is) NOT JUST A DERIVATIVE,” Srsly wrote. “We are bringing value to the original BAYC community. IP usage of BAYC is the critical element that provides long-term value to holders. The higher the brand recognition, the more valuable the brand and associated businesses. With an increased IP usage and higher brand recognition, the whole Ape and Apecoin ecosystem will benefit.”

 

To bring ApesFacingApes to ApeChain and airdrop these new looks to community members, Srsly and his team are asking the DAO to allocate $259,000 USD. Take a look at their budget below:

The window to vote on AIP-482 is currently open, and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until tomorrow night at 9 P.M. EST to cast their votes on the proposal.
