ON THE BALLOT: This BAYC Member Wants To Do A 3-Year Guerrilla Marketing Campaign For ApeCoin Centered Around An $APE-Branded BMW!

SKIRT SKIRT! This Bored Ape Yacht Club member has an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this cycle to get himself an $APE-branded Bimmer and launch a three-year guerrilla marketing campaign centered around the car!

AIP-502, titled “The Apemobile - Guerrilla Marketing Meets a KOL Partnership (Resubmission),” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal  by ApeCoin DAO Contributor and Mega Koda holder Kodama.

In this proposal, Kodama wants the DAO to purchase and $Ape-brand either a BMW M3, 4, or 8 Competition car for him. This car, dubbed the “Apemobile,” would feature a custom license plate, an ApeCoin logo on the tank cap, “Powered by ApeCoin,” and any other touches the DAO believes will make it look good!

By creating and gifting the Apemobile to Kodama, he plans to produce weekly content about $Ape and ApeChain, centering it around the car for three years. This will attract attention to the ApeCoin DAO community through his posts on his 32,000+ follower Twitter account, potentially making waves in the Web3 world and beyond, accoridng to Kodama.

“The car will be called Apemobile and will be established as status symbol of success within the whole web3 space,” Kodama wrote. “Leveraged by a multi-year partnership with web3 KOL kodama.Eth and the targeted use of guerilla marketing tactics in order to amplify educational content around the DAO, ApeCoin & ApeChain. The car will be a tool to polarize and get attention. In an endless X feed you need to stand out. You need to grab the attention and once you have it, you use it to educate and make them one of us.”

 

In total, Kodama is asking the ApeCoin DAO to allocate $210,000 USD worth of $APE to this proposal. This amount will cover the $170,000 USD cost of the car, including customizations, three years’ worth of insurance, and maintenance. Any unused funds will be returned to the DAO, and at the end of Kodama’s three-year guerrilla marketing campaign, he will sell the car, with all proceeds going back to the DAO.

 

The window to vote on AIP-502 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until Wednesday, September 18th,  to cast their coins and vote on this AIP.
