Let the good vibes roll.

Over the weekend, Gary Vee, founder of VeeFriends and a longtime NFT collector, made a galaxy brain move by purchasing a Good Vibes Club Cosmic Guardian for 7.7 ETH, or roughly $23,800 USD.

Gary Vee’s new NFT is Citizen of Vibetown #6259, a Cosmic Guardian featuring a pilot jacket, calm smile, and middle-part hairstyle. Based on its traits, the piece ranks as the 16th rarest Good Vibes Club NFT in the entire collection, according to OpenSea data.

“Absolutely wild day today, Bad Vibes Guy (1/1) changes hands this am, and the freaking legend @garyveejoins Vibetown’s most elite club, the Cosmic Guardians just now,” Good Vibes Club Founder Chris Guyot tweeted. “Welcome ser, Cosmics are the alpha.”

Today’s Cosmic Guardian pickup marks Gary Vee’s fifth Good Vibes Club NFT, All of which he has acquired within the past week as part of his broader NFT sweep that also included Quirkies, and Chimpers.

As the Gazette previously reported, Gary Vee has been bringing strong 2021 era vibes back to the timeline, tweeting frequently about VeeFriends, welcoming longtime NFT collectors into his ecosystem, and stopping by Spaces to reiterate that while most NFTs may fail, the ones that matter will be massive.

“NFTs are collectibles for the rest of everyone’s life in here, the end” Gary said on Spaces. “And I think that NFTs right now are just in the same place that many collectibles have been. Stamps, coins, trading cards, toys, they’re in a lull. This is a good one to end on, LEGOs were almost out of business 25 years ago. Then they started to do Star Wars and realized, oh shit, IP matters and their company exploded. So let there be no confusion, things can cycle back…. This is where we are at .NFTs are forever, NFTs are forever, NFTs are forever. Now the question becomes for all of us in 26 and 27, which are going to be the ones.”

The Gazette will continue to follow Gary Vee as he makes waves across the Web3 world. Stay tuned for updates.
