Whether you huddle up or ape in, it was all love on the timeline today after Pudgy Penguins owner Luca Netz went on a shopping spree that included an insane new Mutant Ape!

As NFTs make a comeback, Netz waddled across Web3, adding J-pegs from some of the best collections on Ethereum and beyond.
“Since NFTs are back, I’ll be spending the day buying from some of my favorite collections, starting with this @pudgypenguins NFT,” he tweeted. “Which collection should I buy from next?”
Throughout Saturday afternoon, Netz added an OnChainHeroes NFT, a Bearish Bear, a Good Vibes Club citizen of Vibetown, an HV-MTL, a Chimpers, a Quirkies, a Rekty Guy, and a Mutant Ape, which raised eyebrows given the love hate relationship Penguins and primates have had on the timeline over the years.
“New mutant,” Netz said. “Funny story, but I minted mutants at a conference table in the middle of negotiating the sale of Gel Blasters to Hasbro. On that day the entire Hasbro leadership team learned about NFTs. Good times.”
After Netz’s pickup, notable BAYC member Peter Parker applauded the move and said it’s time for NFT communities to come together.
“Time to squash the beef between the @BoredApeYC and the @pudgypenguins,” he tweeted. “Let’s take this space to the next level and work together doing it.”
Parker may be on to something here with this stronger together, WAGMI mindset.
According to CoinGecko, the total market cap of the entire NFT sector is just under $2 billion, which would make it roughly the 45th largest “coin” in the world, right ahead of Sky, Near, and Falcon USD.
