Next week marks the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s fifth annual ApeFest, and many questions are still up in the air. Will Garga announce the Miami Clubhouse? Will someone streak? Earlier this week, Bored Ape Yacht Club member CliveOnChain launched his ComplexApe Parlay game on ApeChain and invited his frens around the swamp and beyond to ape in and possibly make some money betting on this year’s ApeFest event.

 

“Through the ups and downs, it feels like everyone is anxiously awaiting announcements from ApeFest this year — everyone needs a max win,” Clive told the Gazette. “What could those announcements be… You never know. But what better way to tie it all together — the expectations, the degenerate gambling, the scene in Las Vegas, the NFT culture — than a 3-way NFT parlay game based on these possibilities. That’s why I created ComplexApe Parlay”.

 

Getting in on the ApeFest action is easy. When you mint a ComplexApe Parlay betting slip, the system randomly generates a three-leg parlay on ApeFest 2025,  ranging from serious to silly, with adjusted odds based on each event’s likelihood.

“I set the odds on each possible outcome based on my own predictions of what I think is both possible and likely, with a few inside jokes and tongue-in-cheek references included in the mix,” Clive said. “I’m not part of the official ApeCo or Yuga team and I have no inside information, so I’m just riffing and having fun, and I hope others will play along and have fun with it, too.”
