From the swamp to the Igloo, avid NFT collector Adam Weitsman put his flipper down to support the Huddle when it needed it most!

On Sunday, Weitsman revealed that he was the man behind the mysterious wallet 0xb972c97213a47bf58fe2cce28eb3e2f65c842f97, which has been accumulating Pudgy Penguins since the brand's parent company announced that it was shutting down Abstract.

“This weekend I wanted to support one of my favorite collections during a difficult time,” he tweeted. “Decided to buy 117 Pudgy Penguins on chain to spread confidence for the community I have grown to love. Wanted to support this OG project that’s bringing happiness to many. The Huddle will stay strong. Return to Pudgy Penguins.”
As the Gazette previously reported, Weitsman has been a longtime supporter of the Huddle, purchasing his first Pudgy Penguin in December 2025.
Since then, Weitsman has only waddled into more fat flightless birds.
In early in 2026, he acquired 48 Pudgy Penguins, 48 Lil Pudgys, and 48 Pudgy Rods from Moonbirds owner Spencer, a historic collection that was originally held by the now defunct hedge fund Three Arrows Capital, founded by Su Zhu and Kyle Davies.
Then, over the summer, Weitsman waddled into one of the most iconic Penguins of them all, purchasing Pudgy Penguin #6873, the only left facing bird in the entire collection!
Following his latest buying spree, Weitsman now holds 167 Pudgy Penguins across two wallets, according to OpenSea data.
