Q&A: Find Out More About AIP-94 "A Pilot Episode For Otherside Animated Anthology”

The ApeCoin DAO is currently voting on an Ape Improvement Proposal that aims to create the first episode of an Otherside anthology series.

AIP- 94 titled “ A Pilot Episode For Otherside Animated Anthology” is a brand decision proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor and BAYC member Swarm.

“Imagine a “Love, Death & Robots” like anthology, but each episode happens on a random plot of land from the Otherside world,” Swarm wrote in their proposal. “Each plot of land is like a small parallel universe with its own environment and rules based on its traits. Main characters are from the APE ecosystem. Each season or episode has a different style and genre. For the pilot I am thinking about a horror style with a BAYC character as a charismatic antagonist.”

Further in their AIP, Swarm explained that an animated series could spur awareness for the entire $Ape ecosystem. “In order to spread awareness about the Ape ecosystem, we must create products aimed at mass consumption,” they wrote.

To create the series’ first episode, Swarm has asked the Apecoin DAO for $100,000 USD.

1: How’d you come up with this AIP?

“I see that the growth of our ecosystem has stuck in the niche of crypto-enthusiasts. In order to show breakthrough growth, we have to explore options to influence mass culture and an animated series can attract millions of people to the ecosystem. To avoid risks my proposal just for the pilot episode to show the DAO what we can do.”

2: Why do you think making a show would be beneficial to the ApeCoin DAO?

“First of all, if the show will hit hard, this guarantees a significant increase of the $APE price. The AIP will also show that the DAO is open for creators and attract more of them.”

3: Can you tell me more about the plot and story of the first episode?

“At the moment I can only reveal that the 1st episode will be a dark horror story that will happen on one of the Otherdeed plots with environment based on it’s traits. The main antagonist will be one of the BAYC characters.”

4: Where do you see this AIP going after the first episode?

“After the pilot episode I will create another AIP so the DAO members will be able to vote if they want us continue.”
