READY SET GO: The Mocaverse Announced A Free To Play Racing Game And Apes& More Are Coming Along for The Ride!

The Mocaverse is off to the races today after the expanded $Ape ecosystem project announced that a Web3 version of Mario Kart is in the works and Bored Apes and more are coming along for the ride!

On Monday, the Mocaverse NFT project announced that it was partnering with another Animoca Brands-backed project called Cosmic Royale to create a Web3 racing game featuring Mocas, Bored Apes, Meebits, Cool Cats, and more!

In the trailer, we see a Mocaverse NFT racing alongside its Web3 friends on a course that looks and feels like a Web3 version of Nintendo’s Mario Kart, where players get to use their own IP!

“The idea is to allow other characters to be integrated our vision is the cross platform interoperable Metaverse,” Animcoa Brands Chairman Yat Siu told the Gazette.

 

“This is going to be awesome,” ApeCoin Special Council Member and Animoca Brands Head of Tokenomics Mohamed tweeted. “It's great that @TheMotorverse team can share something they have been working on behind the scenes for ages (Credit) Best part is that it brings together multiple communities with a fun game. I know, web 3 games can be fun.”

 

At the time of this article’s publication, the closed beta version of the game is open to Moca ID holders and Mocaverse NFT holders. The goal is to have it open to everyone later this year, according to a post this afternoon.
