After a positive meeting at the White House with crypto leaders, this Bored Ape Yacht Club member decided it was time to buy some blue chip NFTs!

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump met with Coinbase’s Brian Armstrong, Robinhood’s Vlad Tenev, the Winklevoss twins, and more to talk about crypto in America as markets rallied. Then, on Thursday, Disciple bought not one, not two, but three Bored Apes for 25.057 ETH, or $57,600 USD.

After aping in, Disciple told the Gazette that his reasoning for adding three more primates to his portfolio was simple: institutions are coming, and he believes NFTs are here to stay.

“Positive sentiment across crypto , tokenisation and moving on chain coming out of the White House meeting this week,” he said “ It could only translate to NFTs becoming more prominent in future with digital identifies for that that prefer it; and Bored Apes are the blue chip to own.”
