RED, WHITE, AND BORED!: Adam Weitsman Is Proud To Be An Ameri-Ape After Purchasing A Stars And Stripes Primate And Its Mutants For 140 Eth And A Couple Bottles Of Olujo Tequila

From Skaneateles, New York, to the swamp, Bored Ape Yacht Club member and industrialist Adam Weitsman is proud to be an Ameri-Ape!

Over the weekend, Weitsman purchased Bored Ape #793, along with its two matching Mutant Apes, from fellow primate SkyNine111 for 140 Eth (nearly $300,000 USD) and two bottles of Olujo Tequila!

 

 

After the trade, Weitsman tweeted that the patriotic primate’s stars and stripes style is what inspired him to add it to his collection.

“Being in the US Steel business IRL made the Red White and Blue on this Ape def hit home,” he said. “Special thanks always to  @GrailsOTC @_PPMan_ for putting this Gold grail set deal together today ! Appreciate the seller  @skynine111 for helping get this done. Great collector and even greater person. The long price stalemate was finally broken with 2 bottles of my Olujo Tequila promised to go out to the previous owner on Monday !!!!”

 

 

This weekend’s gold fur pickup via Grails OTC marks Weitsman’s second full gold fur set acquisition through Yuga Labs’ new platform, which is connecting buyers and sellers around the swamp while putting an emphasis back on rarity and aesthetics.

As the Gazette previously reported, last month the notable collector purchased a spacesuit wearing gold fur primate and its two matching Mutants from J1mmy.eth for 121 Eth, or roughly $289,000 USD.
