REGIONAL ROLLOUT: Dookey Dash Unclogged Is Live In The United Kingdom As Yuga Labs Continues To Build And Test The Game
The sewers below the Bored Ape Yacht Club are getting crowded as Yuga Labs made Dookey Dash Unclogged available in more regions as they continue to test the app, before inviting every Ape, Degen, and Normie to ‘PLAY THIS STUPID GAME!'
Mutant Monday was insane around the swamp as United Kingdom based Apes put on their hazmat suits, grabbed their plungers, and filled the timeline with screenshots revealing that Yuga Labs’ highly anticipated endless runner game was now available in their App store.
While the community was happy to see Dookey Dash launching in more regions, Yuga Labs CEO Garga took to Twitter and stressed that there is still a lot of work that needs to be done before the sewers open to everyone.
“Still a bunch of testing going on for DDU, including some new functionality in different regions,” Garga tweeted. “Couple new regions live atm but game team wanted us not to make any noise about it since we're taking the game up and down a lot as we test.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Garga announced that Yuga Labs would be delaying the full launch of Dookey Dash Unclogged on May 15th so he and the team can add new features to make the game more user-friendly.
“It’s a LOT of new upgrades to Dookey Dash, all with the aim of making the game fun for everyone and not just twitchy nerds with fast reflexes,” Garga tweeted at the time. “Looking forward to getting my mom to play. All that said, I don’t want to push this sucker live until I feel like we’ve got the best game possible. Good news is, all the new features will be out of dev later this month, and we’ll be able to give an update on launch date then.”
One of these new user friendly features is an ‘Arcade Mode’ that will run alongside the 'champion mode' that BAYC members and Sewer Pass holders played in February 2023.
“ARACADE MODE: A new objective-based game mode, with clear conditions for progressing (like "dash through five walls to win," etc),” Garga explained at the time. “Arcade mode is broken up into levels, and achieving goals gets you progress on the map and onto the next stage. Basically, think Candy Crush.”
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Dookey Dash Unclogged and will let you know when they roll the game out to more regions. Stay tuned for updates!
