RELEASE THE HOUNDS: The Mutant Hounds Will Be Released On January 11th:
The first Mutant Monday of 2023 was insane as Mutant Hounds creator Lior.Eth took to Twitter and announced that the pups will be revealed on January 11th.
After weeks of waiting, a collar reveal, and strong price action, Lior.Eth told the NFT community at large that he plans to release the Mutant Hounds in 9 days, according to his Mirror post.
“The Mutant Hounds saga is defining a whole new category for the NFT industry,” Lior wrote. “It’s only a matter of time until the BAYC & other universes in web3 see the growth of “Layer 2” projects built on top of these base layers, and we’re excited to be spearheading this movement and proving out this concept. After all, this is the thesis of web3, decentralization, and true ownership playing out in full force. We’re conscious of this monumental undertaking, and we hope to become a guide for the “Layer 3” and beyond.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Loir and his team have said that they have big plans for these insane dogs.
“The Mutant Hounds are part of a saga of lore-driven NFTs that push the frontier of decentralized and participatory storytelling,” the project explained in a Twitter thread on December 6th. “Hounds will be part of an ever-expanding universe and will be relevant to your favorite worlds - Otherside being an important focus. Characters, factions, events, and the ability to both feature and guide the course of the narrative itself. We want to create the Middle Earth of web3 with you, and without borders.”
