RTFKT Co-Founder Teased Long Forgotten Bored Ape Yacht Club Shoe Collab Yesterday

Following Yuga Labs Acquisition of the CryptoPunks and Meetbits IP yesterday, RTFKT Studios Co-Founder Benit0 teased a long forgotten collab between his project and the Bored Yacht Club.

“Huge congrats to the genius thinking of @yugalabs and hats off to @larvalabs for doing this, it's what is best for the ecosystem, Benit0 tweeted. “Creators, Builders, Collectors, we each have our skills and role to combine to build the Metaverse. AMAZING MOVE. @GordonGoner @CryptoGarga guess next punks sneakers we need to chat then, and also that other sneaker I don't remember too well...”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, RTFKT Studios teased a BAYC X RTFKT Studios collaboration in August 2020, tweeting an image of a BAYC Boat shoe.

On September 8th, RTFKT Studios then tweeted out an imagine of a completed physical BAYC shoe.

At the time of this article’s publication, there is not new information about when the collab will be released. But Benit0’s tweet from yesterday makes it seem like the collab is possibly back on the table.
