Sasha Is Running For Governance Working Group Steward. Here's Why He Deserves Your Vote:

Things are anything but boring around the swamp as ApeCoin DAO Contributors make their ways to the polls and vote for their preferred candidates in the community’s second ever election season.

After a month of Twitter Spaces, interviews, and politicking, its time for the $Ape community to cast their coins for the two $Apes that they want to represent them as a Steward on the DAO’s newly created Governance Working Group.

For those who are unfamiliar with what this role entails, a Working Group Steward’s job includes managing their Working Group Multisig, operational tasks, maintaining documents, organizing and approving initiatives, communicating with the Ape Foundation and DAO Secretary, approving budgets, executing their Working Group Charters, among other things, according to the DAO.

With that in mind, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to each of the DAO’s five Governance Working Group Steward candidates and asked them why they’re the right $Ape for the job.

Check out the Gazette’s interview with Sasha and see why he deserves your vote below:

1. In a sentence or two what’s your final pitch on why $Apes should vote for you?

“This DAO can have a huge impact on our space and I miss OG BAYC vibes, that purity of intent. I want the job so we can bring that back and set a high bar for transparency, accountability, and execution for future Gov Stewards that follow.”

2. What does success and what does failure look like for the DAO?

“Success: lots of money is given out to amazing projects every quarter and the DAO is buzzing with activity and excitement for the projects in progress. Failure: anything else.”

3. What community or ecosystem in crypto do you really like (besides BAYC/ Yuga Labs) and what does that community have that ApeCoin is missing?

“Punks. I know they're Yuga now, but they come to mind. It just feels like such a builder-focused community. We need to focus on bringing such builders to ApeCoin, from every corner of the globe (I'm traveling Asia now b/c crypto is exploding here, so much talent). The DAO is useless without builders.”

4. Assuming you couldn’t vote for yourself, who would you vote for and why?

“SSP - he's genuine, a veteran, and selfless.”

5. What other DAO’s do you admire and why?

“Each for their own reason - Nouns, UkraineDAO, and soon maybe MocaverseDAO :p Mostly for efficiency, clear mission, and innovative ideas.”

6. Do you have anything else you’d like to add or say?

“Please vote based on qualifications and not politics, race, or relationships. If you're a European, don't vote for me just b/c I'm also one. Vote for whoever you think will do the best job. As long as we all do that, I don't care if I win or lose; I'll be happy knowing DAO has the best people in place. Thank you if you do vote for me, I won't let you down. And shoutout to every candidate that put in the time to run.”

The window to vote in the ApeCoin DAO’s Governance Working Group Steward election closes tomorrow night at 9 P.M. EST.

The Bored Ape Gazette is working to bring you a final interview with each of the Governance Working Group Steward candidates and will continue to follow the ApeCoin DAO’s second election season. Stay tuned for updates!
