SNEAK PEEK: PP Man Gave Voyagers Their First Look At What Building For Otherside On ApeChain Looks Like!

Yuga Labs’ Vice President of Product, PP Man, gave Apes and Voyagers a glimpse into what building for Otherside on ApeChain using ImprobableIo’s technology will look like with a “superUnpolishedTeamStillWorkingOnItNotLaunchingSoonButThisIsForTenaciousFriend” preview of a rubber duck!

After a down only day in the market yesterday, Yuga Labs’ Alpha Otherside Development Kit (ODK) builder Bailey Tattoo shared a closer look at the Gazette’s Otherside headquarters, that's powered by ApeChain.

Following this post, Web3 enthusiast Tenacious asked for clairity on what being built on ApeChain means, to which PP Man shared a 90 second clip of a rubber duck being created, minted on Apechain, and being brought  into Otherside.

Following PP Man’s post, ImprobableIo’s CEO and Co-Founder Herman Narula took to Twitter, and said that the rubber duck clip is packed with alpha and provides community members with a better understanding of what’s to come.

“This also shows off a lot of what @MSquared_io and http://mml.io can do,” Narula tweeted. “The plumbing underneath @OthersideMeta gives you clues to how other integrations could work too! @RJFWhite directly coded this :)”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previosuly, Yuga Labs plans to open the Alpha version of its ODK to more developers later this month so more voyagers can start making Otherside a reaility.

“Excited for how the ODK is coming together, and grateful for the thoughtfulness and creativity of our couple pre-alpha testers,” Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted on July 31st. “We'll be slowly ramping up more access throughout the alpha period, aiming to go from 3 to ~20 users/teams in August while we continue to pressure test and add features with our partners at Improbable. And then more from there. Slow, yes, but finally: steadily. Note: The best testers for these early stages are going to be folks already familiar with Unreal Engine. More info to come.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the ODK and provide updates on how and when you can build items on ApeChain. Stay tuned for more information!
