SOMETHING'S FERMENTING: Richy Rich Updated The Community On Mutant Grape. Here's what We Know So Far

Something is fermenting in the vineyard and it's insane!

Bored Ape Yacht Club member Richy Rich took to Twitter today and gave the community an update on his Mutant themed wine project, Mutant Grape.

“@MutantGrape will be retailing for $69.42 We’ll be launching the NFT at $420 (ETH/APE equivalent),” Richy Rich tweeted along with an image of the Mutant Grape bottles. “1,200 NFTs Each NFT comes with 6 bottles with your asset Each NFT earns you a net income distribution from retail sales of Mutant Grape through IP licensing Launching in Feb.”

The first wine that Mutant Grape will be releasing is a Cabernet Sauvignon, according to the company’s website.

“Sumptuous flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, huckleberry and mocha are framed by sweet oak and vanilla from barrel aging. Fine-grained, dusty tannins add a plush structure to the finish,” Mutant Grape wrote.

Prior to today’s announcement, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Mutant Grape and spoke with the company’s Co- Founder, Dough, to find out more about this bored booze and how it began.

“Lots of apes in our crew, one night the name hit and knew we had to make it,” Dough told the Gazette. “The way I look at fermentation is a form of mutation. Mutating grapes becomes wine eventually! We were only going to allow BAYC fam to join, but we’re allowing blue chips with licensable IP to get involved. Plus, we love wine. I personally was a brewer the majority of my life, started in wine and now own a cannabis beverage in CA with some cool celebs.”
