Bored Ape Yacht Club member Dadswheels has been busy in the community bathroom over the last few days, not taking a shit, but etching his name into swamp lore one pixel at a time!
After days in the BAYC Bathroom, longtime BAYC member Dadwheels has left the stall, washed his hands, and entered bored immortality!
“After 2 years in the club, I finally decided to make my pilgrimage to the @BoredApeYC Bathroom,” Dadwheels tweeted. “ It's not perfect, but you try writing your name with one pixel every fifteen minutes while you're taking a shit.”
For those who are unfamiliar with the Bathroom, it’s the community art project that was one of the first utilities that BAYC members had when the club first launched in April 2021. Since the beginning of the BAYC, anyone with an Ape in their wallet could enter the bathroom and place one pixel onto the wall every 15 minutes!
Dadwheels told the Gazette that he placed 100 pixels by himself in his pursuit of bored history!
“It's a little tough to stay on top of it with work and checking on my HV=MTL's (shoutout HV #91), but it was all worth it,” Dadwheels said. “The important thing to get across is that even though I did this amazing thing, I'm just like all of you other apes. If you work hard and persevere, you too can get your name on the bathroom wall.”
Dadwheels now join community legends like the Elite Apes and Lowbellie and cultural icons like Homer Simpson on the BAYC’s bathroom wall!
